In 1998 LSIHES is organizing 2 UNESCO Seminars: on Modern Cellular and Molecular Biophysics (in collaboration with IUPAB, August 15 - 30) and on the Metabolism of Nitric Oxide and Its Measurements (October 1 - 30).

Teaching will be IN ENGLISH. In the case of necessity the simultaneous interpretation could be provided for the students with the poor knowledge of English.

Deadlines for registration are July 1, 1998 (Seminar on Modern Cellular and Molecular Biophysics) and August 31, 1998 (Seminar on The Metabolism of Nitric Oxide (NO) and Its Measurements).

After the completion of seminars the students will get Certificates of UNESCO Chair in Life Sciences. Each Certificate will be estimated equal to 3 credits and will give them 10% discount in the first year of study in MS or Ph.D. courses. Those students who would like to participate in both seminars will enjoy the right of having 10% discount of the Registration Fee.

Students are also encouraged to make poster presentations which can help them in applying to organizations for obtaining funds.
